About me

Hey there! I am a  Master’s student in Geography at the University of Cologne. Geography is my passion and besides studying I have always been strongly shaped by my topic related student jobs. After two years working for ecoprog GmbH, a consultancy for environmental and energy markets, I spent a year in Kisumu, Kenya, where I had the opportunity to support the NGO Vi Agroforestry in implementing strategies against the effects of climate change for small-scale farming businesses. Returning from Kenya, I worked for the city planing consultancy Jung Stadtkonzepte. The company is mostly supporting municipal actors to develop strategies for greener and sustainable cities in Germany. Since April 2016, I am working for the research group by Prof. Dr. Dannenberg. I am very excited to be part of the research that is related to economics, agriculture and city planning in the Global South.

I started this blog within the first semesters of my Bachelor’s program and nowadays my leisure time is scarce. It is therefore, that some posts have become quite outdated. I hope to contribute more in future. In case you have any interesting projects in mind, I am always keen to find partners. Feel free to get in touch!
